First time using Murphy’s coal it burns well with little ash.
Usually go with House Fuel smokeless ovals but a pallet (ton) has gone up to £475 (incl del.). No discount codes knocking about so searched the net and discovered Murphy's! Price for a ton of glow therm, £411. Looked for reviews, found a couple that indicated heat and burn output ok so went for it! Didn't know del. charges until checking out and at £13, well reasonable! So a saving of fifty squids, well worth a punt! Delivered within five days and a bonus is the glow therm ovals come in 20kg bags (x50 - ton) whereas the house fuel ovals come in 25kg bags (x40 - ton), so a little more easier to handball the slightly lighter bags 'round the back! Heat output I'd say is a tiny fraction less than the house fuels, but seem to burn down over the same length of time. So all in all, unless you get the £40 discount off house fuels Murphy's glow therm is defo a decent alternative! Just make sure if in Engerland you go on the .co.uk site and not the .com site udderwise yee'll be tryin' t' order yer' coals from the Emerald Isle! Apols for the long winded review! Fast & efficient delivery service which arrived around the time they said they would be delivered. The ovoids seem to be decent burning & produce a good fire, although we haven't used them much so far with the warmer weather. Would certain recommend this fuel & firm again.

Fast delivery I do like the strong bags its supplied in great service.
The delivery driver was unhelpful. He insisted on leaving pallet on the pavement not the drive as he did not have a good enough pump truck. I was left causing an obstruction to the pavement which I hadn't planned for.
Great delivery only downside is your tracking no idea when it was arriving until it arrived

Despite some confusion with the carrier as to when my order would arrive, communications from Murphy’s were calm and helpful, the shipment arrived in reasonable time and the product was well wrapped. I never saw the delivery driver, but he too cheerily phoned to say he’d delivered. The coal itself burns well and is thoroughly satisfactory.

The fuel itself is a mixture of briquettes and loose coal. It was delivered promptly but unfortunately after rain the entire load was soaked and running in black water. One bag was split.
Very good price, very quick delivery of usually within 5 to 7 days, and excellent burning smokeless. {low ash content, 100% burning and easy lighting.
